Hunting Adventures

My name is Rick Lytton.  I'm also known as Eugene, but I gave that up sometime in elementary school ;-)

 

I started hunting in 1982 when I first moved to Alaska.  I was in the Coast Guard at the time and transferred from sunny Key West, Florida to rainy Kodiak, Alaska.  

 

I taught myself how to hunt through the school of hard knocks, and quickly came to appreciate the importance of quality equipment and quality hunting partners.

I learned my outdoor skills from a mountaineering course in Juneau and the Coast Guard survival school in Kodiak.
